Our Three Year Old Preschool Program

Our three year old preschool program is play based and designed to create a love of learning.  In teaching through play, children begin to understand that learning is fun and gain the socialization skills needed prior to entering kindergarten.

Our program is designed to continue to develop your child’s social and emotional needs by making friends and showing interests in playing with others, being able to ask for what they need, and developing their manners.  We will focus on their self-help skills encouraging them to take care of their personal belonging, putting on their own coats, and to continue to remain potty trained.

Our structured learning program is designed to insure your child can recognize their first name in print and attempt to spell it, correctly identifies colors and shapes, knows the alphabet, can put together simple puzzles, understand directional concepts, can complete simple patterns, can count to 20 and recognize numbers 1-5 in print.  We will help your child to grasp a pencil and crayon correctly and begin to draw simple figures.  Most importantly, we will begin developing your child’s creativity through art, giving them the confidence to express themselves and build their confidence.

Our Four Year Old Preschool Program

Our four year old preschool program is a year of exploration and growth.  We continue to build upon the skills they learned in our three year old program as we work toward the skills we need for kindergarten.

Throughout this year, your child will recognize and write letters A-Z in both capital and lower case, begin to recognize the sound each letter makes, recognize and write numbers 1-12, count to 100, learn to spell their first and last name, know their telephone number and their birthday, learn to cut neatly, and gradually increase their attention span.  We continue to work on their socialization and active learning skills by showing them how to learn through play.
